In addition to three new Surface computers, Microsoft released another wearable device, the new Surface headphones, at its new product launch yesterday. The $349 headphones are wireless, noise-reducing headphones with built-in Cortana voice access and other unique designs.

At first glance, the Surface headphones look very similar to those designed by the B&O Play series. They are all grey and metal. Surface headphones have a 40mm drive and a 15-hour battery life, as well as the ability to automatically pause music when you take them off your head. Like many other wireless headphones, there is touch control on the right earmuff, which can pause music, skip and answer the phone.

But the really interesting design feature of the surface headphones is the rotating ring on the earrings. The right one adjusts the volume output, while the left one scrolls through 13 different levels of active noise cancellation, so you can shield all external audio completely to be able to hear your environment. Many wireless heap listeners allow you to switch noise cancellation switches only, and some do not even allow you to do so, so this is a unique, very cool feature.

For Cortana's smart voice assistant, there's a long gesture on the headset to activate it, or you can say "Hey, Cortana," which pulls up your computer or smartphone assistant. Then you can say your order or question, Cortana will talk to you in the headset. The activation word of the Guoxing version should be Hello Xiaobing.

In terms of comfort, headphones have thick memory foam filling and large cups, which completely cover your ears. Adjustable headband also has a small amount of filler, so far there is no long-term trial wear, long-term comfort is yet to be observed.

The sound characteristics of headphones are very similar to those of other consumers'wireless headphones, so if you are familiar with Beats or Booo headphones, you can expect their excellence in this price range. The bass is powerful and sharp, and has a strong sense of presence, but you won't get the glittering highs or the echo stage, which is common with enthusiastic headphones. Based on my limited time, I have a feeling that most people will like the sound of Surface headphones.

However, the most convincing reason is that headphones are adjustable noise cancellation function. I think this is a good reason to look at these, not other wireless headphones with similar prices. This headset will be on sale around the end of the year. My favorite buddies can pay attention to it.
